Scent Marketing for Brands and Businesses
Clique by Roblé is a well structured floral with a lovely play at the top as red hot chili peppers and blood oranges present a savory/sweet opening. Iris, Jasmine and Tuberose, should overpower each other but do not; these floral divas are well blended and behave. Clique by Roblé firmly enters the Gourmand stage in the drydown where the scent of Challah slathered in butter then soaked in chai cocoa tea brings back memories of the wonderful aromas of both my grandmother’s kitchen and HighTea at the Plaza.
According to Bart Schmidt, Co owner and Founder of Brands With A Purpose, “Frank Voelkl created a modification/new version of the fragrance to make it “shine” in this Scented Lacquer and last for up to 96 hours….The folks in the (Nail Polish) lab encapsulated the fragrance and worked it into the formulation”.
This original cookie recipe has been inspired by its Private Collection perfume, the scent worn by Lauder herself.
To evoke the perfume’s signature Bulgarian rose scent, the Estee Cookie is made with rose extract and freeze-dried strawberries.
Until its debut in 1973, Lauder jealously guarded the secrets of her private, bespoke scent — a mixture of oils and other scents — telling friends that the perfume they were admiring was her “private collection.”
Private Collection perfume is a green floral scent with notes of honeysuckle, orange flower and sandalwood.
Established in collaboration with the creative team at Victoria’s Secret Beauty developed two new fragrances for Victoria’s Secret called Angels Only and Heavenly. The languid, fluid, and flirtatious shapes of the bottles reflect the lines’ romantic, soft, and angelic sensibility. Each bottle is then packed in Victoria’s Secret’s iconic pink packaging in accordance with each fragrance branding.
The OBO jewelry range consists of four designs — a drop-shaped pendant and a pebble pendant, designed to be worn on a necklace chain, and a white and black bracelet which feature a bubble at their centre. The pendant looks like a large jewel, but is in fact a receptacle for any type of perfume. When detached from its magnetic housing, the pendant reveals a roll-on base that can be simply rubbed wherever the wearer wants to replenish their perfume. OBO jewelry negates the need to carry extra perfume in a handbag, while remaining discreet and elegant-looking.

That’s the prediction from top fragrance forecasters who insist 2015 will be all about fresh ingredients and modern interpretations of popular notes.
“The spring-summer season always marks a move towards lighter, fruitier fragrances and rhubarb – which is fresh, green and lightly tart – blends with fruity and floral aromas to create a subtle sharpness,” explains perfume guru Miri Scott from Seven Scent.
“Mint is another scent to think about and adding a cool, green note and a hint of spice, the addition of mint gives scents a natural lift.
“Meanwhile, there will be a big focus on tea which delivers a fresh and aromatic character,” she adds.

In 1920, when presented with small glass vials containing sample scent compositions numbered 1 to 5 and 20 to 24 for her assessment, she chose the fifth vial. Chanel told her master perfumer, “I present my dress collections on the fifth of May, the fifth month of the year and so we will let this sample number five keep the name it has already, it will bring good luck.”
Fragrance can be felt but never seen or held, a fleeting impression, a conjurer of bye gone emotions, a flirtation of future encounters.
Perfume is the ultimate tease. Join AllSense as we cast our eyes back over the ages to reveal the essence and aspiration of the times as reflected by the scents we wore and the advertisements which epitomised them.
