In a completely unique (and for this writer – refreshing) event format, Singapore Indesign 2014 unites four design precincts: Bras Basah, Dhoby Ghaut, River Valley and Tanjong Pagar. Showrooms and pop-up spaces in these precincts are transformed for Singapore Indesign with conceptual installations and product launches, hosting international guests, topical industry seminars, emerging designer showcases, workshops, demonstrations, networking drinks and other entertainment. The locations are connected by design trails, with our free Indesign: The Event shuttle buses traveling between highlights all day, creating choose-your-own design adventures for industry insiders and design lovers. Singapore Indesign was first held in 2011, under its former name ‘Saturday in Design’. The event brings together high-end international and regional brands, and leading architecture and design talent to showcase the most revolutionary new products and ideas.
